Swarna Jayanthi Shahari Rozgar Yojana (SJSRY) : is an anti poverty programme launched by the Government of India for eradicating absolute poverty from urban areas. The community development structure is providing the delivery system for the scheme. Identification of beneficiaries, selection of micro projects, preparation of application, monitoring of recovery, actual implementation, social audit etc. are done through Community Development Society (CDS) structure. SJSRY has two sub schemes, the Urban Self Employment Programme (USEP) and Development of Women and Children in Urban Areas (DWCUA).
